The party peaked Saturday night in Sisimiut. The program for the day included Sismiut’s first Gay Pride. On the let of the truck leading the parade was of course Greenland’s own queer queen Nuka Bisgaard. Nuka was accompanied by the Norwegian rap duo Kuuk, who performed a concert at the cultural venue Taseralik following the parade. Anyone who has a taste for sarcasm owe themselves to get acquainted with the groups material.

Saturday night was finalized with three concerts in the Sisimiut gym. The Danish-Greenlandic band Inuit Feet rounded up the evening. The band is headed by the characteristic Southern Greenlander Kristian Mikkelsen who is accompanied by a vigorous band consisting of musicians from Denmark. Inuit Feet performed a compelling concert to conclude the evening. It was obvious that the band has a dedicated audience in Sisimiut, where they have performed several concerts earlier.
